I always felt like Everlasting Summer needed much more drama, much more tragedy, like it should be darker, blacker than the blackest black times infinity; and bad endings should hit like a sledgehammer. So I made a cover of song which complements one of the most depressing moments, put all my darkness and pain in it, and squeezed it to the point where only pure sorrow is left.
Frozen and lost above your rivers
As they flow through the cracks under the ground
And the light is fading away, and your breath is dying away
And your skin is turning pale and white and cold
I recall those days we spent together
And those memories are slowly blown with the wind
Now, drown in darkness, I'm wandering in shadows
And only despair and hopelessness are the ones around
I will crack it open
I will run my rivers
I will end my journey
I will meet you there
